Mamma mia! You are still using IE?

I find Firefox is just light years better and more stable - don't know if I buy all that stuff about rendering pages quicker, but it is definitely (IMHO, of course) a far better browser. And I have next to no troubles with downloads. I only use IE once following each reformat of my computer. 1. Open IE. 2. Download the latest Firefox version. 3. Grazie e arrivederci.

Okay. I am now using Mozilla Firefox. It's so much quicker... Thanks everyone.

Why does the font change to times new roman when I am making or editing a post... and the background colour is grey/biege?

IE is not standard compliant with CSS/HTML... so it's possible that you have a different aspect for some pages.
That is rarely a problem, only on bad websites which are not standard compliant.
With the more frequent use of browser like Firefox, Opera,... most websites have become standard compliant by leaving the MS specificities.

Mille grazie. Understand things a bit better now.

BTW, I just received a set of Arkel panniers in the mail. Will help me set up my Jake the Snake exactly the way I want it for light touring and commuting. Happy PP today.
