While we're on the subject of most embarrassing moments... about 1995.... our team beats India in a game of sixes cricket. This Indian team consists of Tendulkar, Kambli, Azzarhudin, Jedeja, Srinath, Prasad. Which won't mean anything to non-cricketers... but to anyone who plays cricket... it was a strong team.

Anyway, one of our players kinda wins the thing single-handedly in the last over (batting against the the final relief pitcher as an analogy) and scores 26 off six balls. That's kinda like scoring a home run... bases loaded with two outs in the ninth inning to win by one. So our team run onto the field in jubilation and jump all over our guy (who plays in my club team). So I try to be cool as I'm walking out in front of 6,000 people or so... thinking I need to be more subdued... so I kiss him on the cheek. Yeah. Not cool. The picture is then on the back page of the next day's newspaper. And if you go down to the basement bar at the Excelsior Hotel in Hong Kong... it's still on the farking wall. 13 years later.

I can sense a Thumper "ghey" comment soon.

Sounds like you have made the correct choice to get away from 'substances' as it were then.

It isn't bad for pop country...well, pop country is bad, but...

The truth is that probably my artist outside of Dylan is Steve Earle. I guess that is considered Alt Country. I might like Jerusalem better than any cd I have. That or Trancendental Blues.

Are you on something now?? That was a Jessica Simpson clip, and it said was no longer available...try again, brother...or I'll make a guess...

So are you a teatotaller now? Or you can have a few beers in moderation?

I feel like this thread is sometimes like that scene in Holy Grail where the King of Swamp Castle is going "Stop that. Stop it! Stop it!" [music stops]...

Everyone wants to break into song in here all the time...

Nothing for 17 years. Drinking a beer or something like that holds no draw for me.

So does that mean if I break this habit of logging on here every day... I may never log on again?...
