I was disappointed about the Shimano myself, it showed so poorly in the TDF with the winner!! ![]() |

My primary training partner has a set of Neutrons on his Canny, and I really like them too. They are more "forgiving" comfort wise, but oddly, don't feel quite as rigid as the Eurus do. I dont think I'd pay the premium on the Neutrons over a good set of Record hubs and CXP rims. I love the hum of the Eurus at speed, if the wind is at your back you can hear the blades spinning in the air, it's great. Dave |

Hehe yeah, I'm sure the five time tour winning team had nothing to do with that performance. Seriously, shimano is fine in my book, of course its on my beloved MTB. (litespeed Pisgah for the record.) Dave |

As with everything in the TDF, the riders are what make everything work. On another note you have a great looking ride. I am looking for different bottle holders for my ride, that's why only one is in place so far. What brand are the ones on your bike? |

They are TACX Tao cages, 37gms each. ![]() Quite nice, and grip the bottles just right. No problems getting the botles out, but they dont FALL out. Dave |

I looked at some Tacx cages at REI earlier today. Do not know if they were the same ones. I think I will order some. Thanks for the information.

I bought everything but the Frame at Cbike. They were great. I was dealing with competitive cyclist, but I really wanted the silver frame, and they were out, so I got it at GVH, but as I said, the components came from cbike. Dave |

Frame is three weeks old. couple of problems - chain too short & the tyre's flat (this morning's ride). As you can see - there's not many of us in the office at the moment!
Check it out futher at Rewel Titanio Balzano, Italy |

Just a boring 2003 Specialized Allez Comp, with Ksyrium SL's. It's ok for me for though, i'm new to riding road bikes and this is my first bike. Something like a Colnago C40 would be nice one day though, if I ever become good enough/rich enough to justify owning one!

Let's be honest, you can never justify a 3500.00 bicycle. I mean, unless were making our living riding them, its pretty tough to do. I also have a Ducati 996, a VFR 750, a Land Rover Discovery, and BMW 540i, none of which I can justify. All I NEED is a diesel Jetta right? Life is about finding happiness, and at least at this point in mine, these things help me with that. My kids aren't bad either ![]() D |
