because i FINALLY, after 25 years, recaptured the magic i felt on the bike as a teenager; working with bikes rekindled the need to find that, and actually getting back onto one for distance put it over the top.
i ride for that magic; i ride for the health and fitness; i ride for the challenge of keeping it going into my 50's; i ride for the passion, the love, the purity of it; i ride to save on car insurance, oil changes, and gas -- sold my car three years ago; i ride to keep riding.
