I guess this is equally as believable as Whitney Richards' story about Rasmussen.

What no one seems to get is that even if it there was 100% undeniable proof that Contador was working with Fuentes on Liberty Seguros in 2005, there is still NO EVIDENCE that he doped during this years Tour.

(other than his incredible performance)

No, but he would still need to serve a two year ban.

He rode for Disco, isn't that evidence enough? Not this year though, the dysfunctional cycling federation is making sure of that. Disco=Astana=Drugs, NoDisco=NoAstana=NoDrugs, its just that easy. The federation has saved the day with watered down races instead of drugged up races. Yeah, right, I can't wait to finally see a drug free peloton. I bet the peloton is loving the fact that the "drugged up team(sans new management/riders but they can't fool us)" won't be there to defend. I know if I was riding, I'd be glad to know my GC's chances of winning would be greater now that the defending GC(druged - but not officially) is forced to sit this one out. I mean who can imagine the elation Pereiro felt when he was named winner of the 2006 tour back in September. Knowing he really won, but yet he didn't, but still he did. I wish I was the winner of this years watered down Tour de Farce, then I too could know that feeling.
