I am sick of hearing about KIDS.
Today I was walking along 34th Street in NYC, around 3 pm, when school lets out. And I passed cab letting out a young white girl of about 9 or 10, and her "nanny," a black woman of about 30. The yougn girl was hissing, holding her eye glasses, saying to her nanny, "LOOK what you DID! You broke my glasses." The girl repeated this phrase while her nanny looked on confused. Apparently, the glases had fallen on the sidewalk when they got out of the cab, at the curb. I stepped up closer to make sure I understood what the girl was saying, as she said it with such conviction, while the nanny tried to understand what had happened. I was disgusted by what I heard. I put my face about 6 inches in front of the girl, and I screamed ... "SHE DID NOT BREAK YOUR GLASSES" The girl froze, snarling at me, and stared at me like I was a registered child abuser. "It was an accident; She did not hurt you." The girl's mouth was still hanging open when I walked away.
