pardon my ignorance but if the A sample is thrown out doesn't that nullify anything done with the B sample?

Withholding that evidence would amount to professional misconduct. Ethics, anyone?

I thought that I just read recently that the results of the B test were not released to Landis and his lawyers until just a few days, maybe a week ago? I'd have to search around for it, but I seem to remember that they were quite upset that it had taken so long. |

Oh yawn... even if he gets off due to lab stuffups, which I see is all bs anyway, that does not exonterate landis... it just means he gets off on a technicality...
he's still as guilty as sin... |

It does speed up the body's ability to repair itself... hence stage 16/17 results... 2 + 2 = 4 |

The transfusion (undetectable) explains his recovery...he didn't realise the testosterone was still in the old blood. Martin Jackson has explained everything...and Martin knows Landis well. Burn the witch.

I'll have a jug of Mojitos, please, while you fly me to Cuba. Please avoid tall buildings and I'll thank you to land at the southern end of the island,if that's not too much trouble.

http://www.floydlandis.com/blog/ "Upon review of 370 pages of documentation provided by the LNDD laboratory at Chatenay-Malabry, Jacobs and a team of scientific experts have found inconsistencies in the testing protocol and methodology that support Landis’ innocence. Jacobs received the official document package on August 31." |

You've got me - I used to use it to post up race photos there, but the albums page broke down and hasn't worked for months. They don't even have a contact person listed on the site anywhere, so I have no ideas on who to get in touch with to tell them. You could cruise over to http://www.bikecafe.net/NW/ for some NW News |

This was a regional cycling site. It's as good, maybe better than, velonews.com Man, the NW lost it when they didn't finance that site. I remember the guy who ran it saying he talked to the WSBA, OBRA and BCCycling to get together and fund the site but they wouldn't. They all wanted their separate news site. Wow. They missed the boat. You'll never see anything like that again.

Think about it: Landis bombs on stage 16. He comes back on stage 17 and starts going extremely hard and begins regaining the 9 minutes lost - in relation to the other riders. He's watching his power meter, knowing what his max output is and paces himself accordingly. The other riders, knowing how badly he bombed in the prior stage don't take him too seriously, thinking there's no way he can maintain the pace he is going at and unintentionally allow him to gain the momentum he needed to come back. He's not necessarily riding stronger than he did in prior stages, but looks incredible when comparing himself against the other riders based on his solid performance in stage 17 in contrast to the previous stage, and when compared to the un-wise riding of the others in stage 17. The media is pathetic much of the time in the spin they put on stories. Thanks largely to them, he's had to go through "trial by media" instead of a proper investigation first. I just finished reading a book on the history of the TdF and it's FULL of story-book finishes to individual stages and the Tour as a whole from the very inception of the Tour through today. Is it possible he doped? Obviously it's "possible". Did he do it? None of us have any way of knowing the ACTUAL truth other than what the press feeds to us. The ACTUAL truth is guaranteed to be different at LEAST to some degree from what you'll read in standard headlines. Personally, I'm willing to give the buy the benefit of the doubt first. "Innocent until proven guilty." |
