The man is a phenomenal player but unfortunately when it comes to the Ryder Cup, he doesn't seem to be able to reproduce that form.

There was plenty of speculation on TV as to why TW doesn't seem to be able to replicate that level of form.
Some say that he feels pressure from participating in "team" event - others say that because the PGA is such an individual tour that it is hard to "bond" with people who are you're trying to beat, week after week.
Guess it's one for the sport psychologists.

Still he was the main attraction here last weekend.
For a guy who has so much attention - he comes across really very well, I have to say.
Very balanced, humble. We know TW's well here - he participates each year in a charity golf event at Adare Manor.
Each year TW's there raising millions for charity.

As regards the Ryder Cup : Europe were superb. Clarke, Howell, Garcia, Casey the pick of a great team.

I read a little of the article of the "Dubliner" [?] that portrayed TW's wife as a porn star. What type of paper is the "Dubliner"? [I think I have the name correct] Is it a "gossip" paper similar to what we have in the states?

TW handles himself well. I think you are to something whn you posted about "playing with guys you want to beat each week." I think athletes of TW's nature want to dominate as much as they want to win. Sure, TW keeps it to himself better the Jordon and Armstrong does, but inside I am willing to bet he is on fire.

That's the things we fans have a hard time with. We want our hero's to win, but we want them to be humble. We are asking for a Jekyll and hyde situation. If you follow TW's interviews as often as I do, he exposes this often. He lets it be known he is the alpha dog.

I know he has handled the 'Augusta" club thing well. All the black activists want him to speak out. He let's them he is a golfer and respects the traditions of golf. TW has done more for the black man as far as golf is concerned then he would have alienating the golf powers. A close friend of mine is a black man who handles the game very well. TW inspired him to take the game up.

TW is a class man. A man with set objectives in the golf world.

The Dubliner is a magazine - ostensibly a current affairs magazine.

It published a photo of nude model with Mrs TW's head superimposed on the nude photo of another model.
It hasn't gone down well here with the general public.

rumour has it that QM was the original founder of Versace but gave it an Italian name to make it sound foreign.

the fact that QV invented the kilt and the bagpipes is a well known fact...however, where you come from people buy thier TVs from grocery stores..

I hate the fact that Zapper is not around. He would be having a harder time in the dicussion about violent weather this year. Excluding a few floods and tornadoes it has been pretty quite.

Meteorogically speaking, the reason it has been so calm on the east coast is due to the effects of El Nino....

Bush stopped all the hurricanes this year. I assume so because he started all on them last year.
