At present they seem to be behaving as if they really can get away with murder, and by and large it appears that they are doing just that. They've beaten Nixon in terms of abuses of power already, time will tell just how far they go.

I think GWB would be an idiot to try for a third term, but then again I thought he was an idiot to attack Afghanistan and a bigger idiot to attack Iraq.
