Scratches, ha.

The top bar on my recently purchased bike is soo bad you can't see the name brand at all on the left, and took a good minute or so to dicipher the other side....

Really, if your a do it yourselfer, go to you local auto parts store and purchase the following:

1. Wet sand paper (its grey)

2. Primer (available in some basic colors) in arosol can

3. Touch up paint (also in arosol can) choose the color ya want.

4. Clear coat (again in arosol can)

Step 1. Sand bike (ya don't have to remove all color, just make it completely smooth) use water on the wet sand paper, take your time.

Step 2. prime bike (remove all parts accessories and anything else that your not wanting paint on, any holes get taped up, small holes use cotten or small bits of fabric to fill)

Step 3. repeat step 1 and 2

Step 4. repeat step 1 and 2

(note this should be very light coats of primer)

Step 5. paint

Step 6. sand (lightly wetsand)

Step 7. repeat step 5

Step 8. clear coat

Step 9. repeat step 8.

Reassemble your fresh looking bike..

(note. allow 24 to 48 hours between primer coats, and 12 to 24 hours between paint coat and clear coat)

Good Luck (I am going to do this to the bike of have soon)

Randy
