Again?!

Wow...

Great job, Rick.

Has your increase in FTP translated to better racing performance?

thanks guys. Yes - only one official 45k TT this year so far. Won by 2-min, PB and course record on a hilly course not suited to my lard_ass at all ;-)

Hilly RR on Sunday - finished 4th behind 3 good climbers but by only 5-seconds which is a huge improvement for me from last yr. I honestly couldn't even ride with these guys on a hilly training ride let alone a race. I typically would be several minutes down in a race on that terrain. This is all open men's racing and I'm not exactly in their age bracket either.

I have to say I've never felt so fresh at the e/o of a road race. IOW, I coulda/shoulda put in another couple of digs over the last 5k despite being off the front for over half the race. It takes a while to get used to 'new' legs if you know what I mean .

a small question for you guys at 4 watt or + per kilogram are you pro's or ear pro's?
You guys must be there in the front of the race right any of you doing international races?

Believe it or not, 4+ w/kg @FTP is about what a good US Cat 3 would be able to do...

I posted mine just to make the newbies feel more welcome. Been training 'seriously' for about 7 months [riding for about 1.5 years].

Oh :-/ well thanks
what kind of leves would the 'good' cat 2 and 1 competitors be at.

I cant post mine yet as riding over 40 mintues is really bad for me at the moment, so its a nice zero watt .i'm lowest on the rank. Luckly i read some threatment that might help me out of my myserie for good. Insoles only work partially on my overpronated foot i am going to the so many'est doctor but their appears to be a new operative treatment that is specifickly designed for people with my problem.
And the best thing of all is that i'll never have to wear bulky shoes in my life afterwards!
