Oh! Maybe because the liberals try to stereotype all gun owners as red-necked, nascar loving, NRA member, church going, beer swilling yokels. Since you own a gun does that mean you support the 2nd amendment?

Liberals can certainly do that, but they can't want to take guns away from people by definition.

As for the 2nd Amendment the Iraqi insurgents are putting it to the use for which it was originally intended. Namely giving invading forces a bloody nose.

in its original connotation it means an entirely different thing. However, I support the right of citizens to keep & bear arms ESPECIALLY w/ the current majority of fascists (conservative repug's) in office. I do however admire some repub's such as Specter, Hatch, et al.

Much like the 1st amendment. Its original context is 'Congress shall make no law respecting religion'.

You are wrong again Colorado Ryder. You seem to suffer from selective memory. You left out the following:

respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”

You repugs have a real problem with references….

What if Christmas means nothing to me? Why should I have to endure all those Christmas carols, gift exchange, 12 days of christmas or even the freking Jelly of the month club?
