Opposite the house I live they buried someone not too long ago. There were cards and garlands outside the house. The person who died as a soldier in that war, I imagine, believed he was fighting for a decent cause. Many of the troops who go to Iraq aren't killers or murders but believe they are fighting a just war out of necessity. They believe what Bush told them.
The fact I don't agree with the Iraq war doesn't mean the folks serving in Iraq are killers in the same league as Bush. I see them as victims of Bush just as the Iraqis are victims of Bush.
Yes, there are some troops who are little more than thugs in uniform but these are a minority, I think.
I disagree with the war for reasons I already outlined and I blame the politicians who instigated the war, not the soldiers who face sniper fire every day. Many of these troops believe Saddam attacked the twin towers but the politicians know this is baloney. And many of the troops are beginning to question the war and smell a rat.

Although, I admit it is painful whenever a U.S or UK soldier is killed, but it is even more painful when people like you throw your little comments up here about our troops being injured or killed while at the same time accusing us of murdering innocent Iraq’s in a predetermined method…

Lets speak in quotes since you enjoy them so much…The two individuals you speak of that wouldn’t put troops on the ground Kerry and Clinton?? Yes, we know that Clinton liked to throw missiles at camel butts and Kerry is too indecisive to predict what he would do..Oh, BTW the quotes listed below have been verified which is more than I can say for your leftwing generated bushisms…

“One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line."
President Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998.

"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program."
President Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998.

"I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force — if necessary — to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security."
Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Oct. 9, 2002.

‘We are in possession of what I think to be compelling evidence that Saddam Hussein has, and has had for a number of years, a developing capacity for the production and storage of weapons of mass destruction. "Without question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime ... He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation. And now he has continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction ... So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real ...
Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Jan. 23. 2003.
