When I am asked about success, I always think of the words of the legendary
Liverpool FC manager and Scottish man, Bill Shankley.
When asked about life he said "it doesn't matter what you do. If your job is sweeping the street, try to do it to the best of your ability. If your job is to score goals at Anfield, try to do it to the best of your ability. Do your best at whatever you find yourself doing".

I think success is to do your best at your marriage, your best in your job, your best in helping people, your best at being a good neighbour.

This brings rewards both financial and personal in terms of satisfaction and pride in my work.

It would be crap for sure if i busted by bollocks every day and got no wage rise or bonus or career advancement. Sometimes all i get is a smile and a thank you from my employers. This can be a good thing...goodwill between employer and employee is rare these days.

Maybe they are intimidated by your hair-style ("cue ball", to go w/ your "spoke breaker [billiard stick]")

I'm only a 2.69 per day poster so I guess I am just a cruser by some standards.

Your status as a "regular" is unquestionable. You joined @6-7 month's before me. You are above the 1500 mark, not that our post-counts equate to anything in particular. Sometimes I "lurk" thru the entire "box" & don't see anything that I beleive is interesting or controversial so I don't post at all. That happened to me 2X last week.

I always considered myself an "irregular" but either way I am perceived is ok.
Sometimes if you need controversy you must create it yourself, but I know waht you mean.

I have to invest more time doing those because most of them are "from the heart"
