That bike just looks old, kind of like you found it in grandpa's garage. If you want a bike that looks baaaaaad, I'd recommend this one:

I hate Lemond bikes, and I hate Campy too. I think the bike sucks and that the best bike ever is the Cervelo Soloist Team (carbon or aluminum). I would never buy Lemond junk.
I have a Cervelo Soloist Team, Kestrel Talon, Giant OCR 1, and a Giant TCR Aero 2. |

Bike snobs truly are a pain in the perineum! What diff does it make if a guy rides a fancy euro-trash bike or a domestic mass produced bike? It's all about having fun and enjoying your ride, right? Nothing is more irritating than a guy showing off with a $4k bike like his crap doesn't stink. The original poster was merely looking for acceptance and peer approval. Slamming a guy because he like LeMond or Trek etc. is immature. I've had many different brands of bikes and for the money the LeMond line is a great one. Some of you dolts need to get a life based on friendliness, fun, and comradeship instead of what bike a person rides. In their prime any great rider like Indurain or LeMond on a low end bike, could kick ANY club riders butt on a Litespeed. |

a bike is a will powered machine.........and i own a lemond. it's a great frame and has 105 components. Let me tell you because it says lemond people write me off purely because of the name. It's always cool flying past someone on a euro machine and seeing the look that they give you which says "but my bike is worth 5 times what yours is, how can you be beating me" then its a nod a grin and off we go.
by the bike becuase you like it, nobody likes a poser. ![]()

Yeah, it's a whole lot of fun to beat snobs. I knew this guy that wanted to go riding with me. He was a work partner and had a bit of a belly. I guess you could say that he wasn't in the best of shape (unless by 'shape' you mean an apple). Anyway, I met him at a local park and he shows up with a Litespeed! It had all top stuff on the bike as well....you know, a real techno-freak. All I had at the time was a middle of the road Trek aluminum. Nice bike but certainly not a Litespeed. It was fun riding with him until he started bragging about his bike and components. I kicked his butt on hills AND flats.....oh, but his bike looked nice. When we were finished (too soon for me) he loaded it back on his BMW and never rode with me again.

Back in the messenger days it would have ....he doesn't deserve such a fine ride.
Even if I had the bucks for a ride like that I don't know if I'd fork out. Hard to justify if you don't compete. To me at least.
