Didn't the Catholic Hierarchy come out, a couple of years ago, & state that their belief had changed as to the age of the earth before "creation" & that their revised date is 5,000 yrs ago as opposed to their previous 3-4,000 yr. stance. Either way, it does not "jibe" w/ current scientific methodology.
Here's an ongoing embarrassment in my country-Jesus land:

"The evolution of a fight to the end
In Kansas, God and science are going toe to toe again"

Defenders of Charles Darwin’s theory of natural selection are boycotting four days of hearings — beginning Thursday — over the science curriculum in Kansas, where the state Board of Education is made up of a majority of conservatives critical of what they see as errors in the standard theory.

Again, if you really study any of it, science and religion actually complement each other. The only people that make it an either/or issue are those that have a poor or limited understanding of both. Of course since this describes the majority of people it can seem confusing and often is used by each side as an argument for why the other side is misinformed.

Taste and character go hand in hand... Oh and for what it is worth, there are plenty of awesome American beers, but Budweiser isn't one of them. As a rule of thumb, any beer sold at Pizza Hut should be avoided if one is to maintain any semblance of taste or character.

Can't agree with you at all. I know several individuals with tacky taste and unquestionable character.
A book and it's cover.

My first response was tongue in cheek saying that beer drinking makes you lack charachter... The second was a weak attempt to tie the fact that Budweiser sucks together with lacking charachter. I agree with you... but you still have bad taste.

You got a problem w/ the use of emoticon's They are easy to use & one emoticon has more desriptive power than a single word

That's good I always like it that you post political art. I print most of it out.

I dunno. The best beer is... not beer. I drink VERY limited amounts of kirsch or cointreau.
