Default Bush's Attorney General Resigns

Quote:
"The letter from Ashcroft, 62, who has been a lightning rod for criticism by Democrats and civil liberties activists, was dated Nov. 2, Election Day, but was not released until Tuesday. In a separate letter to colleagues at the Justice Department, he said he would stay on until his successor was confirmed."
Pretty amazing. He was a lightning rod.

Excellent,

rumour has it that Powel and Rumsfeld are on the verge of being fired out on thier arse too. (despite what Bush says).

Hold on, 'despite what Bush says', why did i say that?

the world still turns and the tides still flow despite what Bush says. The man is a liar.

I'd love to see Rumsfeld being fired, he's the worst character.

Media reports here in Europe say that Condolezza (where did that name come from ?) Rice also wants to get out of the Bush goverment.

Seems the mandate that the 51% of the 60% of voters, isn't all the appealing.

Yes, I beleive there are very few, if any members, of his cabinet; that are not tainted by making false or misleading statements. I only hope that his press secretary(s) would also resign. The guy talks for an hour & does'nt answer one question

It's an exercise in futility to get an honest answer out of that guy. They should'nt call it a question & answer period, they should refer to them as question & evasion/non-answer period

They're all like that, David.
The unvarnished truth doesn't apply to politics anywhere, anymore.
It's all about media management and spin, if you ask me.

This applies here equally.
A straight "yes or no" answer is about as common as a Dodo.

If you want the truth - never ask a lawyer or a politician (or their press sec.)
