If you were 23 and still had the same thoughts . . . you'd be a weenie.

Check your spelling - poll. I thought "suport" was spelt "support", bit of a mistake when you give GB a bagging for his lack of linquistic skill. Anyhow politics should be about policy not buying votes for $$$. Both Bush & Kerry are on the latter.
Anyhow our man is Aus, little Johnny (we call him the assistant deputy sheriff) will be pleased if George got in as he also committed to Iraq. Deputy sheriff = Blair

As a weenie, prick, moron, and dumbass, I have to object to the way in which my people are being portrayed here.

So, here I am on one of these flame boards. I've been dodging that bullet up until now. The ones I've been on have been pretty harmonious.

What could possibly be wrong about asking people for a political opinion? If there's another area of the board for this, fine. I wish everyone would elaborate a bit though (some did, some didn't). "I think this" or "That guy sucks" doesn't say why you think that, which is the interesting bit.

I could have gone for a third option, saying Dubya is probably a fairly clever, dangerous politico and deal-maker, for what purposes and with what objective, we don't really know, probably. Why couldn't that have been on the list?!

Considering how little access to important information we have, though, none of us really has any business being certain, on this. But Kerry, who seemed to me to be just another weaselly stuffed-suit, now sounds as if he might have a genuine bone in his body, or two. He might be a smart guy, too, but that doesn't exactly help you get elected, as President Bartlet would confirm.

Ummm... You should prolly just make the poll either "yes or no."

I say this because even though Bush may be a moron, people will still vote for him knowing that.

when they come for you and we (the UK) says 'feck off this time' - I'll pee my pants, 'cos it'll be people like you that caused it...

Who the f are they?! That's Hitler talking.

President Bartlet is Martin Sheen on The West Wing.

Any guy who shows up at my door (on a bike, I guess) trying to convert me to Christianity had better be armed.

Interestingly enough, this view (convert them to christianity) was quoted by a respected (in the US) reporter post 9/11 as to what we should do in Afgan. She was being serious aswell! There doesnt seem to be any balance here; you either have one set of nutters or another, each with hardline / extreme views. EVERYONE needs to start to live and let live a little. Theres no way EVER that the whole world will follow one religion or another, it'll just never happen - so dont try.

It's like the Dutch views on prostitution and soft drugs - they cant stop it, so they dont waste their time trying. They are potentially the most forward looking nation on the planet.

What I find interesting and telling in this obviously slanted poll is that the President is doing as well as he is. At this moment 59% to 40% is not a huge lead if you factor in the obvious bias the original poster has and those who wish to rubber stamp that idiotology.
