Well we need the USA to defend us because we are not willing to fight for freedom, the labout party wanted to pull our troops out of Iraq and ask the USA to protect australian over there doing business

As for becoming the 51 state if they wanted us to we would have not be able to do any thing to stop them

If we where "Invated" by another country pity on them!! we have some of the most defendable country to launch insurgent attacks. Fact is the most aggresive country in the world at the moment is the USA, if you have to call the school yard bully to protect you at a price, you are better of standing on your own feat even if you are defeated.

Also if we where attacked by a country that did not have a wealth of Oil the USA would not lift a finger anyways.....ask half of Africa

I had a professor in college who based 10% of the class grade on the final lecture. If you attended yout got 10% if your were abasent you lost 10%.

Anyway, his lecture was "Ethics have them you can go home" Some students debaited if it was ethical for him to then leave early as he was getting paid for a full lecture. However, it is one of the lectures I remember most from College.

Ireland is the 51st State of the USA.

Another US company has decided to relocate from the US to here.
McAfee today announced their redeployment to Ireland.

So let's add McAfee to the list of US companies such as Oracle, Dell, Intel, J&J,
DuPont, Microsoft, Guidant, Boston Scientific, Motorola, General Electric ....that have all setup here in the past few years.

Oh, and what about all those US troops stopping off in Shannon Airport on their way to Iraq.
We're meant to be a neutral nation but our lying politicians deny that it breaks our neutrality covenant when it allows US Airforce palnes to refuel at Shannon.

And politicians wonder why Ireland's reputation as an honest broker with the Arab people has become worthless ?
