Hi Mal,

Do you use it only for Tri's or for commuting as well?

I'll be using my bike for a combination of both which is why I'm not looking specifically at tri/time trial bikes.

That does sound like a bargain though. Nice one!

I use it for commuting to work every 2 or 3 days(30k each way).

I found it more comfortable than the ocr or tcr frames. the aero has slightly different geometry. I don't actually do tri's at present, may in future and this gives me the option.

Hi everyone,

Thanks to everyone for your advice!!

I went out yesterday and finally bought my bike and am very excited about it!

I finally decided on the Giant TCR1 one after taking it for a ride. Bought it from Lygon St Cycles for a pretty good price:
Bike plus other bits and pieces including shoes, computer, cages, repair kit etc.. for $2655.

Not bad considering the bike retails for $2600!

Now I just can't wait to pick it up and get out on the road.

Thanks again to everyone for your help!

Cheers.

Hi people.

Well thanks also to this website for all it's information. I had been looking for a while now....(2-3 years) and finally bought a Giant OCR1.

Got it for $1,485 on sale. Not bad, so I ended up getting all my accessories and things for about the same price as I was originally going to buy the bike for! Can't wait to try it out now.

See you on the road.
