not really, he commentated the tour of france for onda cero, a national radio station, one of the 4 national radio stations that commentated everyday every stage of the tour of france
pedro delgado commentates for tve, he is very funny and you learn a lot from his experiences and that stuff he always tell us

Actually Miguel is not on TV at all anymore here in Spain. The first couple of years after he retired he was still on TV sometimes, but now he is not at all. Delgado however is every year on TV commenting the Grand Tours everyday. Maybe this has to do with Indurian being shy-speaking as he alwasy was.

Yes Delgado is very funny. Especially because he is a very BAD commentator. He was a much better rider than commentator. In my opinion he is there because he won the TdF and a couple of Vueltas, and because there is probably very few people to take the job.

Pero joder si muchas veces hasta se le traba la lengua y se inventa palabras que no existen en el diccionario. No sabe ni hablar.

a mi me gusta, y menos mal que esta el, porque carlos de andres....
y si encima esta de ayudante ernest riveras..... tienes ganas de ganar la etapa?? o..... que prefieres la general o una victoria importante en el angliru
a mi carlos de andres me aburre, no hace mas que hacerse el intelectual leyendo informacion de iglesias o comentandonos cosas de los cuarteles nazis en atenas, en cambio con perico te entretienes con sus anecdotas, bueno hablo por mi, no en plural en claro

It's good to hear that Perico is still involved - even if only from a commentating viewpoint.

Miguleon though - it's a pity that he isn't involved.
Here in Ireland, BigMig got a great amount of TV coverage when he came here for the 1998 TDF.
He is very very much respected in this part of the world.

Here too....one of my all-time heroes. Luxembourg TT in Tour '92.

Agreed Luxembourg was some going.
Was it 3 mins he took out of the field that day ?

yep...3 minutes. Prompting Laurent Fignon to label him forever as the "extra-terrestrial"

Did you know for the 5 Tours Mig won, each year there was a different runner up?

No si yo no digo que me caiga mal Perico, de hecho sabe mucho mas de ciclismo que el anormal (y con perdon) de Carlos de Andres, lo que pasa es que no es un periodista profesional y le falta base para hacer el trabajo. Carlos de Andres es mejor periodista pero no tiene ni puta idea de ciclismo. Así son las cosas. A mi me caia mejor aquel comentarista que estaba antes con Perico, y que murio, pedro gonzalez puede ser? Un saludo.

Perico even still gets on the bike from time to time and rides ciclotourism races. However I have never seen Indurain on the bike again since he retired.

Yes, De las Cuevas was second at 3 minutes. Bugno was 3rd at 3:41, Lemond lost 4:04, Fignon 6 minutes!!!! I have never seen a demostration like that ever. Except maybe Ullrich in 1997 altought against worst rivals.

si es el, sobre todo pedro gonzalez lo que conseguia era trasmitir con su tono de voz y su emocion que el espectador vibrara con las carreras, aunque dudo que fuera periodista profesional, quiero decir no parecia tan culto como de andres y cometia bastantes errores linguisticos, pero a mi no me importaba. de donde eres??

I am a big BigMig fan and I hadn't noticed that there was a different runner up each year.

What a talent - BigMig.
What I liked about him was that for a tall man - he could really climb.
I was lucky enough to see him live in 1995 chasing Pantani up the Alpe D'Huez and Guzet Niege.
It was awesome to see a guy like that - with his height - being able to power
up those mountains.

Or how about Columbia R/R 1995 World Title - when he marked Pantani and helped Olano ?

The man is a monument - last genuine champion in my book (but I am a fan !)
