Is that even what happened? Which came first, the divorce or Crow? It looks to me like a lot of accusations are being leveled without any first-hand knowledge of anything. |

LMAO, I can support the Lance worshipping crowd that says no doping allegations have been proved. I agree and think he is not a doper. At least not now. I do think he has doped before. His denials never seem to say he never doped. It is always that he is clean. But now you fail to even be able to admit that he ran out on his family. How do you think his kids feel watching daddy kiss Sheryl Crow's filthy mouth after every stage. "Hey Mommy, why is Daddy kissing that ugly woman instead of you" I bet his wife has more class than to tell the truth. "Because Daddy is a two-timing, lying A-hole, who only cares about himself" |

If you have any first-hand knowledge about why the marriage failed or the order in which things took place then here is your chance to present it. Otherwise you're only showing that since you can't provide anything to reduce his credibility as a cyclist, you'll make unsubstantiated attacks to his personal life. So which is it? |

Because life is more complicated than that! 50% of all marriages end in divorce. Does that mean 50% of all adults run out on their kids? NO it certainly doesn't. As for Lance being a great cyclist . . . he is, but it must just kill you when you see someone walking around with a yellow band on their hand doesn't it? I mean, to start something like that and to know that each one of those people wearing it - you see them at the Olympics don't you - respects the man for his cycling abiltiy as well as he cause. I lost my Mom to cancer and my dad is a suivivor . . . it's a great thing he's done to bring the awareness out front and in the open. I don't know about idol worship but there are a few who want to make him into a deamon for sure.

Hmmm, maybe he should change his nickname to "Run_and_Hide".

It may have been posted previously, but does anyone know the actual extent of the tests done to check for doping or steroids for cyclists competing in the Tour?
If it were a toxicology screen done on their blood, I don't know how anything could be missed. They can tell what kind of sugar you used in your coffee. ![]() I personally don't think Lance is doping. I guess you never know these days really, do ya? But it would be a huge dissappointment to the fans if he were. I chalk the majority of his success up to his work ethic coming back from cancer and his genetic disposition to produce 1/3 or so the lactic acid of most people. Either way, even if he was found to be doping, I'd still have to say he's a hell of a cyclist. |

Yes, actually it does mean that 50% of people give up on their kids. I am surprised you cannot see that. Short of abuse, there is never a reason to divorce. Are you suggesting that Kik was abusing Lance and that is why he left? Sorry if you find that insensitive, but I won't be fooled by LA's BS again. I read his books and believed in him and read the BS about how bringing his kids to school is all he wants to do. Then 2 months later he is spotted all over Austin with other women. He is just a man. And by his recent behavior I would say not a very good one. |

Why is that? Because I spent the weekend running and riding and playing with my kids instead of worshipping Lance Armstrong on a message board? |

That's the best you could do? I don't even need to justify that with a response. Your "wit" speaks quite clearly for itself. I'm not surprised. ![]() |

Actually you did justify it with a response or you wouldn't have responded! "That's the best you could do?" was a response. Witty? Yes, bringing my mother into this discussion was so witty. Don't break your arm patting yourself on your back for your wit. You are the one that made this personal, not me. You should have left my mother out of it. |

I didn't mean any insult toward your mother. My apologies. I was just wondering what the poor woman may have done to make her child so angry and bitter about something that really has no impact on his existance. The following comments that you made: Quote:

Are downright disturbing and make me fear for your general mental well-being. I think you really need to just relax. You're right, I shouldn't have brought your mother into it (the poor soul). |

Yawn. He wrote two books talking about how his family meant everything to him. I bought the books. He profited from it. I say that makes it my business. He made his personal life everyone's business by writing the books. My father left my mother for another woman and I have never forgiven him and won't talk to him even 15 years later. I hope LA's kids do the same. Then maybe people will stop acting like self-centered a-holes and respect their wedding vows and respect the little human beings they spawn and then leave. Something you won't have to worry about, because people that put pictures of their dogs on their profile are socially inept losers that don't breed. Please keep that stereotype alive. |
