I saw a freaking huge Coyote this morning in the Presidio
whilst cycling to the office. Was he looking for Grouse?

Ewoud's heroic -- he's outsprinted Dekker I think 3
years ago.

P.S. Julian Dean (NZ) made the top ten today!

How can little ol' New Zealand have a rider in the Tour but
huge Canada rarely does lately?

Don't talk about the Presidio, I am dieing to get up their
for a doctors appt. so I can take my mountain bike and hit
the area, especially I love the Cliff house down along to
where they sail handgliders. Dam, I wish I could live
there! I like to walk the dogs in the beach too. Mt. Tam is
another fav.

We only have one every 5 years or so...

Stephen Swart, Chris Jenner and Julian Dean.

(But, you know it's hard to train down here since it's so
freaking hot, other side of the world, hardly anyone lives
here and you have to keep dodging the kangaroos. Oh hang on,
that's the other mob...)

All Freds like Lambert, check it out,

"Song conducted focus groups with "high income" women ages
35 to 45 and auditioned Delta flight attendants who might be
"comfortable with self-expression." And they outfitted the
attendants in uniforms by designer Kate Spade, instructed
them on how to mix an apple martini (for customers) and told
them to serve biscotti with the cappuccinos they offer
passengers.

[freakin-ehh!! ed.]

"Now, thanks to fitness apostle Barton, Song's flight
attendants have broadened their skill-set. And some Florida-
bound New York passengers will have the opportunity to start
sweating before they reach the sunshine."

[more thin, fit, rich chicks! ed.]

Right now, the list of Canadian professionals comes
down to this:

1) Strong riders on American DivIII teams (i.e. Erik
Wohlberg)
2) A sprinter on Navigators, an American DivII team
(Mark Walters)
3) Two riders on US Postal: one young pro (Ryder Hesjedal)
and one seasoned, modestly successful rider (Michael
Barry) who could easily be a first-stringer, but who is
being badly underutilized by the team as-is.

He's not really a sprinter.

I think heather halverson should be noted. Her posts can be a bit odd, but she is well respected even by the RBR gods. She also seems to read just about everything which is quite impressive.

have to negate this since i was just complaining to howard
last nite that i have over 2000 unread messages. i blamed it
on wasting too much time watching the tdf and not reading
rbr like i should.

(and you're nice, but i shouldn't be noted under a list
of "rbr leaders", but i will accept a place on "rbr
oddities" ) heather

Half of them are the 'helmet - not a troll' stuff, which you
can pretty much ignore.
