If they really weren't happy with it, they would have
raised a protest
- by lifting an arm, signaling to the judges. This was seen
in the Giro d'Italia and would have been taken extra-
seriously yesterday because there WAS a crash. But there
was no protest and the rider who went down didn't bitch,
so he's off the hook. These things are expected to happen.

Also, some think it was Tom Boonen who caused it and
not Kirsipuu.

You are mistaking the real Canadians for the likes of Kyle.

So, Tom - tell us how you think Canada did not do enough in
the Second World War (or the First, even). Did we refuse to
get involved against Hitler until we were attacked? Did we
wait until Russia had decimated Hitler's army to attack
(yeah we got beat when we did, but we tried)? Did we whine
about "appeasment" while sitting back and selling materiel
to boost our economy and staying out of the fray?

I am sure that we are all glad that the United States joined
World War II (and WWI) in the end. But please do not
denigrate my country for doing "...so little.". Given our
population and non-militaristic history, I am very proud of
the job we did in both wars.

And while I do not know Kyle, I suspect he is actually a
"real" Canadian. That is something to be proud of, and
something that people respect you for - around the world.
Despite the stupid beer ads....

Nazon. See http://www.cyclingnews.com/tour04.php?id=photos/-
2004/tour04/stage2/CADUTA

Jaan was far over on the riders' left side, not even in the
picture. I agree that it was reckless. Nazon could have
avoided Boonen with far less movement.

This from the laughing-stock of r.b.r., living in a
country run by a president who is the laughing-stock of
the entire World?

OK... whatever, Tom. I'm done here.

Good, adios. Keep politics out of RBR Newbie Stevie.

Ken:

Are you ignorant, or just forgetful? I have been posting to
r.b.r. for 8 years or so. You can verify that if anybody can
(being the computer guy you are...). I thought that
you had ended the childish "supreme-ruler" posts
behind and were willing to discuss thing instead of
blustering about things you did not like. But you are
as obnoxious now as you have ever been.

Sorry, but it was not me that brought politics into it, just
me who defended my country's honour when attacked by Kunich,
who claimed that Canada did not do "enough in the second
World War". This, even while the U.S. was sitting it out...

If you don't like it, tough. Grow up, listen and learn.

Not ignorant but maybe foregetful since I never recall
you before 2004. I could look it up and prove myself
wrong easuly.

You just cannot resist talking politics can you?? Wow.
Whether he's right or you're right or it's a matter of
opinion I don't give a rat's ass. (you're a hypocrite anyway
-- that you've proved)

Learn what? That political discussion is fair game in
RBR? Never.

OK, do that, or don't call me a "RBR Newbie". Thinking about
it, you could probably go back to 1995 or so...

That is a pretty strong accusation, Ken.

Heh - that coming from you?

I am not the guy who began all of those posts about Micheal
Moore and all. I'm not the guy who got Tom's motor running
about the helmets and all. If you look back on my posts, you
will find that they were about cycling, usually well-thought
out and fair. Not masturbatory fantasies about LANCE or
vitriolic posts against people who are not LANCE groupies.

Ken, you have not been the supreme ruler for many years,
even then we made fun of you. Now you show up in June-July
every year and try to bully people based on your past
glories. Nobody is afraid of you any more.

So, you used to be afraid of Ken? Wow. I've raced next to
Ken and even that didn't make me afraid of him.
