Maybe they are protesting because of unemployment. And, how do you know that these protestors are unemployed and pot smoking? I guess it depends on the rally...would you say that those protesting the anti-GOP protestors are mostly highly-educated, hard-working indivuduals? Or what about the civils rights movement? If you were around then (or even now), would you say that those people were all whiny, pot-smoking, unemployed, lazy liberals? Sometimes, protesting leads to improvements/progress.

Also, although it seems conservatives nowadays are less likely to believe it, protesting is just another way to express one's opinions and is not treason (to a point...I don't support violence, it doesn't help).

Thanks for the drivel, Zap, I knew I could count on you. You always come through! Of course I know that YOU wouldn't use "liberal" in a derogatroy manner, that's simply my own twisted imagination (roflmao!)

I hope that soon there will be no more liberals; only conservatives. That the political spectrum in the U.S. will soon boil down to right wing, extreme right wing, and even more extreme right wing. Then, and only then, will everything be right in the country, and we can all sleep safely.

Trek, I gotta' agree, f@ck free speech, f@ck political diversity. I'm hopping on the "kill all liberals" bandwagon today! Shut them up, gag 'em, euthenize 'em. Don't be needin no damn peeples be talkin that liberal shit i'd just take 'em on out back and blow their gd heads off, before they reproduce, shut 'em up, plug their anti-american pie-holes (ya I listen to Rush, too, I talk the talk).

That's the way our founding fathers would have wanted it....

This discussion isn't worth pissing on...

Stop it, keydates, you're making too much sense here, you're going to get blasted big time.

Biggest pot smoker I know is a staunch Texas Republican, I guess he didn't hear that it's a package deal...

umm... I think I missed something. When did I say this? If you think I am jumping on a bandwagon, you are sadly mistaken.. Get a life and don't think everyone is out to get you.

There are people who protest that smoke (pot), but there are also people who work that beat their wives.

Not to make a comparison here, but people protested for jobs back in the Great Depression. While the unemployment rate was 4-6 times higher back then, I don't think it was just lazy liberals who were protesting for handouts.

Oh yes, throw in some wife beating for good measure. How about child molesting for good measure?

The mark of a liberal is to make a mole hill into a mountain.

Shame on you for bringing up civil rights from your country of residence, a country that banned wearing of veils for Muslims. A highly anti-Semitic country (Arabs are Semitic too). Liberals are far too caught in the web of civil rights only when they point in one direction. It goes BOTH ways and a black police officer is NEVER treated with disrespect in a white neighborhood but put a white police officer in a black neighborhood and you might have a problem. James Byrd is the liberal poster child for the NAA(L)CP but then they go and blast the President who SUPPORTED the death penalty for the convicted perps of this crime. And under the same breath, they blast him for the perceived over use of this penalty and how he should have pardoned every (minority) criminal sentenced to the Walls Unit of TDC.
