Mel
If you’re interested we could make up a “B” ride and do our own 50-60km ride at a slower pace. 25-27kph is also fast for me as a training ride. Pity though to miss out on a ride. We could meet same time 7:00 at the Mug & Bean and it would be a chance to put faces to names in the “A” group.
Ronnie
Come and join us. Anyone else interested?
Please reply asp.
Thanks, Old Timer
I need to start my ride really early tomorrow - 6am - to finish in time to do all the "mom" stuff that I have planned (karate gradings, buying a dual battery for a week in the bush - do you think they will let me take my bike with me to the Kruger National Park? ).

Pity - probably the only time that there will be someone from this site willing to ride at my pace ... :P
Enjoy your ride.

Would love to join you guys I live up the road in Strubensvalley so it will be a nice warm up to the mugg & bean. Did the 94.7 in 3Hrs14 min ;D and the average speed for this ride sounds just right. By the way, what direction are you thinking of riding? Up hillsnacks ;D towards randfontein or towards gordon rd?

Ill be there on my bright pink Panasonic

Big_Gears - cool nick!

I was thinking about riding along HP towards Hillsnacks then turning right (no hills!!) then left along a little road favoured by the pro's for some reason along t the end and back to Mugg and Bean. An easy, flat route.

I am, of course, open to any and all suggestions.

Sounds like we have a good crowd going - vive le Internet!!
Everybody that rode et al,

T'was indeed a pleasure - even though I had the poppy seed muffin instead of the pecan nut flapjacks (I think I've reached pecan nut saturation in the last month or so...)

This weekend is out for me (got the sister coming over from London and need to prep the house).

Although I'm sure my arm can be twisted!!!!!
