View Full Version : Bike Insurance?
May be a crazy question but has anyone ever heard of bike insurance? Just curious because my road bike was a pretty penny, took awhile to save for it, and I doubt I'd be able to replace it right away if it were to be stolen or damaged in a crash.
Is there such a thing as bike insurance and, if so, does anyone know I would go about getting a policy.
Thanks,
Rob

Thanks,
RobI had a personal property insurance policy that was pretty cheap. It covered all my belongings to include valuables up to $5000. I wrecked one of my road bikes in a race and the isurance company covered the cost of the frame. They usually have low or no deductible's.
If you have a homeowner's or rental policy you may be able to use that or get a rider to cover the bike.
