Hello all,
Can someone tell me what the torque specs should be for mounting a Front derailleur braze on adaptor?

Thanks

Depends on the frame material but hard to go wrong with 5-7 nm.

Hello Peter, thanks for your reply, but that sounds like a sensible start point.

I have also come across a FSA Installation Compound which appears to be designed for stopping the slippage of carbon seatposts. Can I use that on the FD clamp?

You can but that goop is more intended for carbon seatposts into carbon frames, to prevent binding but not slippery to allow for seat post slippage.
