Urge Congress to Allow Mountain Bicycling in National Parks
I was planning to go down to Joshua Tree to use some of the new trails,
and I came across this:

"The park’s Backcountry and Wilderness Management Plan designates
approximately 29 miles of trails for non-motorized bike use, however,
the new trails cannot be used until Congress gives its approval."

What needs to be done is to urge congress to allow the parks to
implement their backcountry and wilderness management plans. Inform your
congressperson that all the experts agree that mountain biking does not
cause any more impact to trails than hikers or equestrians.
