hayes sole brake pads
Twice lately ive had brake failure with my Hayes Sole hydraulic discs - the pads have refused to go back into the housing after braking and one pad has become jammed between the disc and the housing - resulting in a fast stop! - and then the pad falls out on the ground. When Ive looked at the pads (sold to me as replacements for the original pads) ive noticed that they aren't round like the original but have a slice removed on 2 sides - (this is probably what enables them to get jammed under heavy braking). Anyone else have a similar problem, or can confirm that original Sole pads are circular?
