Cycling Shoes

Last summer i purchased a pair of cycling shoes (Forte CR210) from performance bike (they're still there).
However, part of the shoe broke.
Its not the cleats, but instead the inside part of the shoe (the part where you screw the screws in, the holes for the screws are basically torn out).
It seems that you can replace it, but i dont know where you can get replacement parts.
Any ideas?

Any ideas?It sounds like you're referring to the "T nut" - the part the cleat screw screws into? If so, almost any bike shop has replacements, and they're cheap.

To replace (or remove), you do it from the inside - have to pull out the insole. Then, many shoes have a little flap that covers the T nut and you have to pop that open too.

Does that make sense?

I figured out how to get the old part out and the new in.
However, my LBS (amazingly) said he didnt have the part and that i should look online......

I suggest you call Bike Performance, since it appears that is where you purchased the shoes. They should be able to get you the part, and very likely it will be free.
