Saved by a Horse in Nicaragua
The 'road' was marked as a highway on my map. In reality, it was a rutted cow path. Pushing the bike became impossible when the mountain ascent got steeper. Thankfully, a security guard with a horse rescued me and pulled me (and lowered me) over the mountain.

People are good. Jungle paths in Nicaragua are bad.
