Advice on buying a bike?
Hello everyone,
I am looking into buying a road bike, but I have no idea where to start. Could you please suggest a bike or two that would be good for me. I am 5'8 and my budget is around £300 ($600). I'm just looking for a bike to get started, nothing spectacular but I would prefer the best bike I can buy given the budget.
Thanks.

The best thing for you to do would be to go to a few of the bike shops around your area and test ride a few bikes. After that but the one that feels the best. Usually Giant, Trekand,Orbea and felt make some descent entry level bikes

Sounds like a good idea. I didn't know that they let you test ride the bikes. Thanks for the reply.
