I have just applied for a patent on a totally new kind of bike lock – yes there really is nothing like it! Trouble is I’m a bit new to the serious cycle scene. Does anyone have any thoughts about how I could go about getting my design in the shops, please? There's some stuff about it here: Fast-Fast (http://www.fastfast.co.uk/).
Thanks in advance.

Sounds like its main feature is the ability to pull the hasp tight over whatever you're locking, to prevent someone from getting a lever or cutter around it.
One problem I see is the chain. Most security-minded cyclists are using U-bolt locks because chains are either too heavy or can be easily cut.
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. It's been a long time since my bike was locked outside a classroom on a college campus.
