As title says how low have you gone in winter? I had FTP peaking at 310 (CTL80) last summer, but december was really lazy and I only really started doing more than once a week training two weeks ago (CTL 30), I am currently struggling doing 2x20 at 250. Do you think this is just poor form or perhaps some form of subcliŽnical infection:(

If you feel fine otherwise, I'd attribute it to lack of riding. (Who would have thought?! :))

Three years ago, I was forced to be pretty inactive for about 2-2.5 months due to a pretty major project at work. I was doing a lot of 10-13 hour days at the office for weeks on end and I didn't want the extra stress of trying to ride so there was pretty much nothing to show for that period. I went from being able to do a block of 2x20's at a certain power to barely being able to finish one 20-minute interval at about 15% less. Your results may vary.

It's tough getting back into the swing of it, isn't it? It's mentally tough (blow to your psyche, "I used to be able to do xxx watts!") and physically tough.

Hang in there.

I been off the bike 6 months. I lost 70 -80 watts. I took the time off from burn out. CTL was over 100.

I've got a bit of a different situation. I got my PT just before Christmas and have bumped my FTP by 14W since then. Of course, I've got most of my races in Feb and March here in TX, so things need to get moving.
