Looks as if the time will come soon when it's closed, or diverted though. Hopefully they'll give us a somewhat better alternative to what they've done alongside the expressway round Buranda, it's really scary there at times.

It was fine on tuesday I'm told. There is traffic control at one point to
allow trucks to cross but no signage indicated any detours or temporary
closures.
