Rechargeable bike light sans external batteries

Since 2001, over 90,000 cyclist's have joined Cycling Forums to discuss topics from general cycling to equipment, training, racing and travel or vacation destinations (especially in europe during the tour de france). Are there front lights available that can be recharged and don't come
with a separate battery pack?
Naturally, the solution would be to use NiMH AA cells, but these don't
seem to have the capacity of Lithium-Ion.
Topeak Whitelite HP 1W have a Lithium battery, but it isn't
rechargeable.

I've got the Ayups, battery is external but small enough to velcro to
the underside of the stem so very small, total roadie front light kit
with 6hrs charge under 300 gms, only mail order as far as I know.

Ayups velcro onto the stem and the mount for the lights themselves is quick
release. Takes all of 10 secs to attach or remove both the light and battery
pack and they're both nice & small/lightweight.

No, but what sort of capacity are you after?

When you say 'lights', do you mean LED blinky or 20W of Cree
blindness?

NiMH may not have the capacity of LiIon, but capacity isn't everything
(boom boom).

by the way.. I am a cheapskate and would never part with the $$
required for an Ayup set, but do quite nicely comutting with 6xAA NiMH
strapped under the bars, 3W Luxeon front and 3x1W luxeon rear. Gives
me more than ample burn time (2+ hours).

I too am cheap (hurrah) and made my own 10W+20W halogen rig with 10xAA
NiMH cells - works a treat, and battery pack slips into bag under saddle
with tube, multi-tool and tyre levers. You could also strap it to the
frame near the headtube, no worries.

Oh and of course it doesn't last as long as LEDs, but replacement bulbs
are like $10 and I get about 1:20 out of each charge.

There's quite a nice one we have at the LBS, but I can't remember its
brand (it's not a topeak).

RRP is ~$200, so they're not cheap, but they're very well made. I
have ayups too and they're fantastic.

Actually... my "no" was responding in the affirmative to the Li-Ion/
