What DVD should i buy for indoor training?
So i just bought my Cycleops Fluid 2 and it's fun to ride inside and all but i need more material to watch. Can anyone recommend some cycling video that would be fun to watch as i ride? I was thinking of watching some tour DVDs. Is there some particularly good years that i want to buy?
I'm hopefully looking for some good deals, I will am willing to spend a good amount but i want to get a lot of material. I dont want to pay for an hour long video that im only going to watch once. I see generally 12 hour or 4 hour dvd's. Are the 12 hour dvd's going to be too boring? Could i spring for even more coverage without just watching france roll by for hours?

Get as many DVDs as you like. Classics, Grand Tours, all are good to watch. And get the longer versions, they last, er, longer. I'm currently midway up the Monte Zoncolan from this year's Giro. Last night I was chasing Di Luca and Schleck while remaining within my VO2 max zone, while tonight, as we crest the peak, I shall be remaining in my sweet spot as they labour in Zone 12 or 13.
Race videos are great to keep you motivated, especially when the camera bike is behind a breakaway. You can really pull a few more watts out of yourself. However, when you're hurting you'll probably want to concentrate on your pedalling.
Conversely, on easy rides pop on a movie. I've got a rest week planned, which will include 3 indoor sessions after work. I have The Gret Lebowski lined up. I wouldn't want to watch that while doing threshold or VO2 max stuff, but for no-brain noodling a movie with a plot will help pass the time.
