It depends on the mood, time of year, or the vibe. Right now, it's a tie between Warsaw, by Joy Division and Life of Crime, by The Weirdos.

I can't pick just one, or even the first 100. I like just about anything except rap, R&B, very old C&W, and some opera. Now before anyone takes offense, I am not saying that these are not art forms or legitimate music, I am just saying that they do not appeal to my personal taste in music.

alienator's got an impressive list.
I've been feeling old folk tunes lately with simple blues set-ups, "CC Rider" "When you go courtin" "Don't Let your deal go down" crap like that.
On the ipod for biking at the moment is Zappa's album "Waka/Jawaka," though not too many "songs" on that one per se :)

We're Desperate - x
Evolution- Sub Dub
Really, it depends on my mood- this is just the best of the playlist that is now on.
Oh yeah, one more.. Toolin for Anus by the Meatmen and Revenge by Blackflag. Found these on the web, haven't heard them since the eighties.

Just about anything by the Wombles that fits to the current cadence.
'Remember you're a Womble' for long hill climbs comes immediately to mind.
