I was looking into buying a Botecchia. I really don't think you can go wrong with that price. It will be a great first bike, and you are getting a lot of bike for the money. The only downside is the sizing. You would be better served buying your first bike from an LBS, but you won't get as much for your money. GL!

What's LBS....and Thanks!LBS means your local bike shop. They will measure you, get you on the right frame size, then start adjusting things like stem length and seat height and seat setback to get you fitted to the bike. With an internet purchase, you will need to get the frame size right before you order, and you have to do any fitting adjustments. The LBS usually swaps stems for other lengths at no cost to you when buying a new bike, plus they often include free tuneups for the first year or so. You can save lots of money on the internet purchases, but many recommend a LBS for your first purchase. Your choice.

I have since changed my mind, after reviewing several forum answers the consensus is to buy from my LBS (which I now know to be my local bike shop) Since it will be my first serious bike purchase I think I should be fitted.
Now I'm thinking a Felt Z90....Any comments????

Felt makes fine bikes at an economical price point. It's comparable to the Trek Pilot, Giant OCR, and Specialized Sequoia ranges. I'd consider any of these bikes if they're available in your area, and base the final decision on fit, feel, and price.
