Am I getting a good deal?

I have found a new 2006 Masi 3VC Dura-Ace on closeout for $3000. I was wondering if anyone here has an opinion on this bike and whether or not it's a good deal. I'm looking to start racing next season and would use it as my race bike. Would this be a good race bike or could I get something better in about the same price range? I appreciate any help.

How do you like it?
I don't really know yet b/c I haven't been able to ride it with clipless pedals. I liked it alot when I took it on a test ride in the store parking lot. Much less road vibration than with my steel framed Bianchi.
