Hey, I know you guys said you like the Discovery Channel...I was just watching that show Planet Earth...it is really good. After sitting through years of nature shows and Animal Planet with my kids, it takes a lot to get my attention...the photography on this show is spectacular...

Standing on the shoulders of giants.....;)
Speaking of a giant, I haven't seen much of Bro in here lately. He's only made about 10 posts out of the last 300.
I hope he's not out riding, putting on hard miles so his mileage stays bigger than mine.

I think he spent all day watching the Man Vs Wild marathon...(which was on at our house).

I agree ...unfortunately neither have I! Wanted to get a Christmas tree this weekend but it poured down rain, so we didn't. Usually like to have that done the weekend after Thanksgiving. Now it'll likely be the week before Christmas -- too much work for that little time. I guess I can leave it up til February or something... Or be a redneck and keep my Christmas lights up all year. :D
After I get my kids to bed I'll probably be doing some power shopping on the internet....
So do you think TFF really made his own gingerbread house this weekend?

Is anyone else having problems with it taking forever to post a reply? I mean for it to go through after you click on submit? There's hardly anybody even on here right now...it can't be too busy.
And I posted one and it didn't show up on the last post list...

My connection seems to be working fine NNS. Perhaps Steve, the owner, has just got you on a lower level server. The elite members, I've heard, are routed through a more powerful one.:p

Well it comes and goes...I think it may have something to do with the quality of my avatar at a given moment...I'm thinking little ole Christmas legs got through just fine...:p

Going for 1400?I pass numbers of posts ending in two zeros every few days. Those milestones are so <yawn> ordinary.
I might get a little excited at 2000, but 10,000 should be cause for some champagne cork popping.

Or maybe Steve reads everyone's private messages and he's not happy with something you said recently.
Actually, I've noticed that the server is busy more of late. Which is a bit perplexing because you'd expect that traffic is lower around this time.
I think Steve might have to invest in some more powerful servers soon. I don't know how he does it actually. I'm not a techie, but there must be a huge amount of server space required to keep all the pictures that are uploaded onto every thread around the forum.
Here's the worst experience at Cycling Forums. You just finish a long post and submit it, and the server comes back with its "too busy" page. And then, when you go back, your post is no longer there. I usually "copy" my longer posts now before submitting them though.
