:-)

I have been off the bike since last Tuesday due to work. Ther eis a 20ml TT on Sunday and so by then would be off the bike for 11 days.

It's not really a big deal and I was wondering if it's a bad idea to enter ?

Depends on what your expectations are.

Personally, I'd "screw it" and do it.

I'd do it just to get back on the bike for a hard training day. Just don't have any super high expectations. Although some of my best races have come after a 5-6 day layoff.

GO FOR IT! I think you'll be really shocked with your results- and I'm talking POSITIVE results. I had a two week break this summer because of back to back business travel and vacation out of the country where I couldn't ride. When I came back I did a A-group ride where I thought I'd be hanging on for my life..instead, I never felt stronger on the bike all summer long..and was up front the entire 40 mile ride..pushing the pace..it was UNBELIEVABLE..felt little to know Lactate buildup. The only negative to the ride, was that I was a hurtin puppy the next day..but who cares..it was worth the soreness.
