View Full Version : Trainer Tyres
I fitted a Tacx trainer tyre to my Raleigh trainer bike at the end of last year. It doesn't particularly look worn out, but it's starting leaving a thick rubber deposit on the trainer roller. I just swapped to a new trainer and after a few spins just to see it was set up properly, it's leaving the thick rubber deposit already.
What's up? It doesn't seem to be too tight against the roller, as it just slips if it is backed off. I have ordered another tyre anyway, but is it normal for trainer tyres to leave thick marks like that? Is this how they react when they are too worn?
