View Full Version : Riding Conditions
What is your favorite weather to ride in? I personally like to ride in low to mid 90's, with the humidity 40 - 50%, and no wind. I hate catching a head wind, especially near the end of a long ride.
Most of my usual riding partners call me a masochist for riding in these conditions, but it just feels good to me. I also like the fact that most drivers have their windows rolled up so they won't lose their AC, so I don't recieve as much verbal abuse as I normally would otherwise.

I noticed a major drop in shouting, etc once the temps hit 90+. People stare a lot more in that kind of heat tho. Their faces saying, "Oh my Gawd !! He's riding a bike in this f-ing heat ??!!" :)
I have to ride every day no matter what the conditions are and I prefer high 70's to low 80's with some windage. Don't have to deal with the sweating once I arrive at my destination.
