My guess is wine. But I prefer doughnuts. On long rides, I stop at Circle K and get a few doughnuts , yummy.
I vote for beer. It's mostly water and tastes good.
As for which is the best food for cycling? Hmm....... None!

Which is the best from a bad list? Forget all of those things, they are all acid / mucus forming and all poison to the body.

Forget calories, think MSG, aspartame, pus, hormones, toxins, etc.
Compared with the filth served by Mc Donalds, the above can be considered health foods!
Seriously, NEVER buy or eat ANYTHING from Mc Donalds. That company is seriously unethical. They care about making money, and I dare say ruining the health of as many people, and other creatures, as possible, above anything else.
That company WILL serve you rat poison to boost their profits, and THEY DO.

Stay well away from milk. That stuff is seriously toxic to humans. Forget the generations of milk marketing board propaganda. It is all lies. Milk is a poor source of calcium, not because of the cholesterol, carcinogenic compounds, saturated fats, dangerous microbes, urine, pus, fecal matter, antibiotics, growth hormones that the calcium comes mixed in but due to other factors that actively BLOCK calcium absorption. Ever wonder why older people often develop osteoporosis and other bone disorders, after a lifetime spent consuming milk?
If you like milkshakes then buy, or make, plant milks. Oat milk, almond milk, hemp milk, etc., these are all superior in terms of nutrition. If you do not like their natural taste, they can be flavoured to have an identical taste to shakes made from the diseased body fluids of animals, which many people wrongly consider healthy.

Maybe you're taking things just a little too seriously?

Why do you assume that which I wrote is not based on science? Again, an odd thing to write.

That link should be called paranoia. Watch every little thing you eat, die from air pollution. You can be prudent about your diet, or you can be a dumb sheep, as most lazy/foolish people are, and proceed to shove into your gob whatever poisons they choose to sell to you.
The majority of people develop serious disease at some point in their lives. I would seek to avoid this. I advice you follow suit.

so you can gauruntee you won't EVER get ill? By not shoveling copious amounts of multifarious poisons into my mouth on a daily basis I am SIGNIFICANTLY less likely to develop disease.
