Newb Frame/Fork Question
Hi,

I am new to this, so be gentle. I have just bought a s/h frame off e-bay. It is thought to be a specialised. It has a headstock of 34mm (1 and 3/8") inner diamater. What size of fork is required, 1" or 1 1/8"? Any further advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers Paul

You'll need a 1 1/8th fork and it seems you have an integrated headset!
What sort of riding will you be doing?

Hi Skootaroo,

I have now confirmed that I need a 1 1/8" steering tube and headset (A). I will be doing XC, no jumps or stuff, getting on a bit :o .

Thanks for your reply.

Cheers Paul

Ignore the integrated bit, you have a conventional headset.
