has anyone had experience or heared of anyone's ancles getting hurt on the landing of a big jump while wearing clipped shoes?I have heard of just about every part of the body being damaged attempting to land big jumps. Depends on your skill level and experience regardings your specific question. It seems most people with lots of BMX experience are more comfortable with platform pedals. Those that come from MTB and road riding seem to like clipless. I don't think either shows any real advantage unless you are trying to use a type of pedal you haven't developed skills for.
