Need help !!! Can a SRAM XO works well with A SHIMANO XTR Shifter

Currently,I am using a Shimano XTR SL M 952 shifters. I thinking of buying a SRAM XO rear derailleur .. Does it works well? its SRAM derailleur compatible with shimano shifters??????
