Can anyone suggest the pros and cons for St Kilda and Carnegie Cycling Club?

It seems they share their morning training rides. Is this correct?

"Word" is that Carnegie is harder :)

Carnegie have HUGE numbers, if you don't like riding in big bunches.
Carnegie get to use Sandown, which is a great course for a criterium, in my opnion: no tight corners, no gutters, and ~80% of it is surrounded by grass.

If you like sleeping in, Carnegie have morning AND evening races -- St Kilda seem to only have mornings. :)

I think you'll find that the morning training rides aren't "owned" by a particular club, but are just well known Melbourne "bunch rides" that head off at various times and places and just happen to be frequented by guys (and girls) that race.

The same or similar rides are mentioned on both club websites because they both expect their riders to come from the same general geographic area.

CCCC runs track racing, St Kilda does not.

Thanks for your replies. Looks like CCCC will be for me.

Love the track.
